Lockerz Update

So much has changed on Lockerz in the past year, I don't even know where to begin.  One big thing is that you no longer need an invitation to join!

So, just go here and join.   Once you are a member, go to my profile and click on all my Shop decalz and watch my videos in Play.  Easy way to earn PTZ!

Team Standings - Step it up, USA!

The team standings as of today for the March Radness are:

Team USA:                22.3 million PTZ
Team International:   25.8 million PTZ

Come on, USA, we need to step it up!  Make sure you are getting all the PTZ you can everyday.  Click the button to get your login PTZ everyday, and then head over to the Dailies and answer the question of the day.

Most of your PTZ will come from the Play section.  Head over to Play and make sure you watch each video to get your maximum PTZ!
Protip:  Click on "All" to make sure you see all the videos.

Remember, March Radness ends on March 25, 2010 at 11:59 PM Eastern.  Make sure you get all possible PTZ by then.   If you are on Spring Break this week, you can use it to catch up on your Play videos!

What is March Radness?

March Radness is the name of the Lockerz challenge for March.  Team USA will be competing against Team International (all other countries) to see who can get the most PTZ.  Whichever team gets the most PTZ during the Radness will get to participate in the March redemption!

Here is the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) about Lockerz' March Radness:

Q:  When does March Radness start and end?
A:  March Radness begins on March 8, 2010 at 6 PM Eastern and ends on March 25, 2010 at 11:59 PM Eastern.

Q:  When will you announce the winner?
A:  We will announce the winning team by March 26.  However, Anthony and Dave will provide frequent updates on the Dailies videos!

Q:  Can I choose my team?
A:  If you are in the U.S., you are on the U.S. team. If you are in any other country, you are on Team International.  Please make sure your country is listed in your account settings.

Q:  How do you choose the winner?
A:  The winning team will be the team that earns the most PTZ during March Radness.

Q:  How do you earn PTZ to increase your chances?
A:  The quickest way to earn PTZ is through watching videos in PLAY (and, of course, Z-listers earn double PTZ for watching)!  You can also earn PTZ in all the other ways:  logging in daily, inviting friends, and answering the Dailies.

Q:  What are the rules of March Radness?
A:  All of our usual rules and Terms of Use apply.

Q:  What will the winning team receive?
A:  The winning team–and only the winning team–will participate in March’s redemption.

Q:  When is the redemption?
A:  The redemption will happen sometime after March 26th.  We will not announce the time or date in advance.

I got $500 from Lockerz!

So yesterday was the "Member Appreciation" redemption day on Lockerz.  You could buy a chance to redeem a prize that day.  I believe it was 100 PTZ for one chance, 250 for 2 chances and 350 for 3 chances.

Each chance was a different wave at a different time during the day.  I decided to buy all 3 chances for 350 PTZ.  Well, I ended up not getting anything yesterday in any of the 3 waves.  I felt like I wasted my PTZ.

Today they announced that they refunded everbody 100 PTZ for the 3rd wave because there were a lot of cheat bots which made it impossible for a lot of people to log in.  I felt a little bit better for getting some PTZ back.

Today was also the general redemption.  The exact time was a surprise, but it ended up being around 4:30 CST.  I had been sitting in front of the computer all afternoon, and right before that I went to go get something to eat.  When I came back, I refreshed Lockerz and it was redemption!

I had wanted to get either the Macbook Pro or Air, but those were out of stock already, so I went for the $500 for 2500 PTZ, and what do you know, it went through! If I had taken maybe 10 seconds longer away from the computer, I would have missed it.  So now I just have to wait until I get a confirmation email from Lockerz.
